Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on the 7th of December th, 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria, grew up in a family of faith, surrounded by his loving and dedicated parents. He is the eldest of three sons who was born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace on her son from an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is a joint effort of the family. The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is home of several best-selling gospel musicians.

Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters, Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon has decided to follow her father's model of sharing the Word of God with the world Also known as CSO, she is a gifted gospel singer who has won awards and is a part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome received his education at Edo College. He then received an award to study architecture at Bendel State University. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University.  Chris Oyakhilome Ambrose Ali University was where he discovered his calling to serve the Lord and become a minister.

While he was at university, The Man of God established what would later become one of the largest churches worldwide. The LoveWorld ministry, under the leadership of Chris, the pastor Chris has become the first pioneer of satellite television as well as Christian television programming. LOVEWORLDSAT was the first Christian television station that broadcast from Africa all day long on free-to-air channels. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations across the globe.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. It also operates two Healing Schools in South Africa, Canada and the US, where Pastor Chris leads seasonal sessions, where miracles can be achieved.
